Based in Edmonton, a publicly listed manufacturing organization is hiring a Controller for their Central Edmonton location. The Controller will provide financial results and technical reporting for Western Canada, working within a streamlined and efficient month‑end close process. Ideal candidates are ambitious CPAs from public practice firms or those transitioning from publicly listed companies.

Edmonton, Alberta (Hybrid – 60% to 80% office‑based)

Base Pay Range

CA$105,000.00/yr – CA$125,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

- Month‑end close in under 3 days
- Cost and inventory reporting
- Budget preparation
- Financial statements for head office
- Financial reporting and variance analysis

Qualifications

- CPA designation with a minimum of 2 years at a CPA firm
- Thorough experience with GAAP and IFRS
- Large ERP system exposure (Oracle, SAP, JDE)
- Reporting experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Hyperion)
- Inventory understanding for fixed and variable cost impact and supply‑chain context
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – presenting financials to senior leadership (finance and non‑finance)
