On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Project Manager III who will be responsible for the successful leadership, governance, and delivery of complex enterprise business and technology initiatives across the organization. Projects span a diverse portfolio of programs, including business transformation, enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, regulatory, organizational change, and operational improvement initiatives.

This role ensures the successful delivery of high-impact outcomes within defined scope, schedule, budget, quality, and governance parameters while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives, influencing executive stakeholders, and managing projects through the full project lifecycle in complex, highly regulated environments.

The Project Manager III will serve as a trusted advisor and delivery leader, collaborating closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technology teams, external consultants, and third-party vendors. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced capabilities in project governance, enterprise risk management, stakeholder engagement, organizational change management, and project delivery best practices.

What will your role be responsible for?

- Lead complex enterprise-wide business and technology initiatives in collaboration with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and technology teams.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success metrics, and business outcomes aligned with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans including resource strategies, budgets, schedules, dependencies, risk management frameworks, and quality controls.
- Engage and influence executive stakeholders to drive alignment, sponsorship, decision-making, and successful project outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive project governance structures including risk management, issue management, dependency management, compliance monitoring, and change control processes.
- Oversee third-party vendors and external partners to ensure contractual obligations, service levels, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
- Monitor project performance and provide clear, transparent reporting to executive sponsors, steering committees, and governance forums.
- Develop and execute organizational change management strategies that support adoption, reduce resistance, and increase business readiness.




- Collaborate with business leaders and technology teams to assess organizational impacts, develop communication plans, and support training and readiness activities.
- Integrate change management principles throughout planning, execution, implementation, and transition activities.
- Conduct post-project reviews, capture lessons learned, measure business outcomes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of PMO standards, governance frameworks, project delivery methodologies, and organizational maturity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by PMO leadership.

Qualifications To qualify for this opportunity you possess:

- University degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive project management experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional, and high-risk enterprise initiatives.
- Demonstrated success managing projects and programs using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies in complex, regulated environments.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required or strongly preferred.
- Formal training or certification in Organizational Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise project governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, compliance management, and change enablement practices.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects across multiple domains including business transformation, enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, regulatory initiatives, and operational improvement programs.
- Experience leading enterprise initiatives that span multiple business units, geographies, vendors, and technology platforms.
- Proficiency with project management tools and platforms including Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based environments including change management, incident management, and service management processes.
- Experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive-level audiences.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.




- Ability to work independently while effectively leading complex cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, executive presence, and the ability to build robust working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Top Skills Necessary

- Enterprise Financial Services Project Leadership – 10+ years of project or program management experience within banking, wealth management, capital markets, insurance, or related financial services organizations delivering large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives.
- Senior Project / Program Management Experience – Have successfully Program or Project Managed at least ONE digital transformation across an enterprise environment involving project charters, business cases, governance frameworks, executive steering committees, budgets, schedules, resource planning, risk management, dependency management, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
- Organizational Change Management & Executive Stakeholder Engagement – Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change initiatives, influence executive stakeholders, drive adoption strategies, assess business impacts, and deliver successful business readiness outcomes.
- Enterprise Implementation & Vendor Management Experience – 5+ years of experience managing complex enterprise implementations and coordinating third-party vendors, consultants, and system integrators to deliver business and technology solutions.
- Governance, Risk & Regulatory Leadership – 5+ years of experience establishing project governance frameworks, managing enterprise risk, supporting audit and compliance requirements, and delivering initiatives within highly regulated environments.
