The successful candidate must have 10 years of experience managing IT projects in a healthcare environment , including steering committee reporting and safe clinical software implementation, as well as

7 years coordinating internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders on digital transformation initiatives. The role also requires 5 years of experience implementing or migrating to Microsoft M365 and Exchange Online

, including testing Exchange Online transitions from on-premise mail services, and 5 years using a structured organizational change management methodology such as Prosci .

Project Overview

Digital Shared Services, a Shared Health service, will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology. The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.

Mandatory Requirement

- Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Valid PROSCI (ADKAR)



Organizational Change Management certification.
- Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification.

Skill and Experience

- 10 years’ experience managing information technology projects in a healthcare environment. Experience should include reporting progress to the project steering committee and ensuring the safe implementation of software solutions in a clinical environment.
- 7 years’ experience coordinating internal delivery staff, vendor partners and customer stakeholders to successfully deliver project outcomes that support digital business transformation projects in a healthcare workplace.
- 5 years’ experience implementing or migrating an organization to Microsoft M365 and Exchange online in a large acute care or public sector environment. Experience should include coordinating implementation with clinical and business resources and management and ensuring that all staff are adequately prepared for the new solution.
- 5 years’ experience directly testing or coordinating the testing of M365 products and services including Microsoft exchange online transition from on-premise mail services.
- 5 years’ experience utilizing a structured methodology such as Prosci to deliver organizational change management strategies and plans.
