Physically receive, inspect, clean, sort, label, store and enter inbound raw materials and components into SAP Supply raw materials, semi-finished materials, components and finished goods to manufacturing, packaging and other internal departments Perform shift-start inspections and assist with maintenance of material-handling systems Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently during receiving and warehouse activities Identify and resolve exceptions such as quantity discrepancies, damaged shipments and contaminated shipments Transfer products to appropriate locations and distribute mail, documents, packages and stationery supplies Manage dock appointments according to production priorities and dock capacity, and provide procurement feedback on vendor scheduling performance Maintain receiving and warehouse supplies Handle exceptional materials and product logistics, including refrigerated materials, hazardous materials, gases, waste and special capsules Deliver requested materials to manufacturing, packaging and other departments and update inventory using RF and SAP Complete transfer orders in SAP and
inventory issues Locate products for sampling and process tote and bottle tote movements Perform basic shipping tasks, including interplant shipments, outbound courier shipments and straightforward deliveries Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy using SAP Maintain assigned work areas in an audit-ready 5S state Participate in audits, inspections and assessments and complete corrective actions Follow regulatory, compliance, quality, safety, environmental and business ethics requirements Collaborate as a team member and demonstrate Apotex values Requirements
Grade 12 diploma or equivalency Fluent in English written and oral communication Competent operator of material-handling equipment,
including Raymond and Cleco MHEs Knowledge of conveyors is an asset Intermediate computer-operation knowledge, including SAP warehouse modules, RF, warehouse databases and intranet access Willingness to work various shifts and overtime when needed Ability to ascend and descend ladders to rack heights and operate equipment at height without fear Previous warehouse experience is an asset Must follow Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act, Apotex safety policies, safe work procedures and departmental safety requirements Must adhere to HPFBI, FDA and other regulatory-agency requirements Must maintain compliance with quality, safety, environmental, business ethics and HR policies Core Competencies
