Job Overview Requirement/Must Have

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.

3+ years of software development experience.

2+ years of hands-on Duck Creek development experience.

Strong experience with Duck Creek Author.

Strong experience with Duck Creek Policy Administration.

Strong experience with product configuration and manuscript development.

Solid experience with XML and XSLT.

Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.

Strong experience with SQL Server and database development.

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).

Familiarity with source control tools such as Git, Azure DevOps or TFS.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and implement Duck Creek applications and solutions.

Customize Duck Creek components including Duck Creek Policy.

Develop and maintain Author manuscripts, product definitions, rating rules, forms, workflows, and integrations.

Build and support integrations with third-party systems using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.

Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Collaborate with QA teams during testing phases and support defect resolution.

Participate in software deployment, release management,



and workplace support activities.

Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and development artifacts.

Support Agile/Scrum development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Nice to Have

Duck Creek certifications.

Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of P&C; insurance products such as Auto, Homeowners, Commercial Lines, and Workers Compensation.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Experience working in Agile environments.
