Lead health initiatives at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre as the Occupational Health Coordinator. Coordinate employee wellness programs and ensure compliance with health legislation.

This role is crucial for enhancing employee health and workplace safety, reporting directly to the Human Resources & Occupational Health Manager. You will develop and implement programs for return-to-work, manage health intakes, and collaborate with departmental managers on wellness policies. Proficiency in health regulations and a robust background in nursing will be essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop high-quality employee health and training programs
• Conduct health intakes and manage vaccination documentation
• Collaborate on return-to-work and accommodation plans




• Maintain communication with insurance providers regarding claims
• Conduct monthly workplace inspections and provide reports

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Registered Practical Nursing Diploma
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 2-3 years in a relevant nursing environment
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Proven conflict resolution and multitasking abilities
