Reliance Security & Locksmith Ltd. is a growing security services integrator with a solid team that have been in the security industry for many years. Our head office is based in Langley where we service our clients all over the Greater Vancouver area, the Lower Mainland and beyond.

Our integrated services include security systems, guard services, locksmithing and security consulting.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer service oriented Senior Security Systems Technician for our electronics division. If you have at least 8+ years experience in this field, we like to connect with you.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Management Team and will be responsible for conducting client site survey’s, establish quotes based on client specifications, ordering products, project management, providing technical support and assist with all installations, start to finish.

The successful candidate will work closely with the field and the office support staff

(management, technicians, and accounting) to achieve project performance, budget and scheduled targets.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to sell Security related products and services
- Valid Technical Qualification (TQ) + Security Alarm Installer license
- Minimum 8+ years proven experience and knowledge with Access Control (Kantech, ICT, CDVI, KeyScan), CCTV, Intrusion Alarms, Enterphone systems




- The ability to interpret plans and design documents
- The ability to install, program and commission security systems
- Experience in target hardening is an asset.
- Solid computer and system knowledge including networking, enterprise systems and the ability to learn new systems.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational and communication skills and proficiency in English to communicate with clients and co-workers
- Valid driver's license with clean Drivers Abstract as travel within the greater Vancouver area will be required
- Demonstrated computer software proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent and proven organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a high-past work environment
- Excellent and proven interpersonal and team building skills
- Strong English communication skills
- Able to legally work in Canada and currently residing BC
- Ability to communicate complex concepts with ease
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation based on experience ($75,000-$92,500)
