As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and evolution of Bentley's Civil Engineering software portfolio. Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for Bentley's Civil Engineering applications. Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Participate in architecture and design discussions, helping drive technical decisions and best practices. Develop clean, maintainable, and extensible code using contemporary software engineering principles. Create and execute unit and integration tests to ensure product quality and reliability.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root-cause analysis of software defects. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, performance, developer productivity, and engineering processes. Collaborate effectively through Microsoft Teams, meetings, technical discussions, and cross-functional project activities.

Serve as a technical leader within the team, helping guide design and implementation decisions. Champion engineering excellence, software quality, and continuous learning across the organization.

Support

Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and technical refinement sessions. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. ~8+ years of professional software development experience.



~ Strong proficiency in C++ and C#. ~ Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and design patterns. ~ Experience designing and developing complex, production-quality software systems. ~ A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Experience developing desktop or engineering software applications.

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Framework, and related Microsoft technologies.

Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and other developer productivity platforms.

Plus de 8 ans d’expérience professionnelle en développement logiciel. Excellente maîtrise du C++ et du C#. Expérience démontrée dans la conception et le développement de systèmes logiciels complexes de qualité production.
