As a Health Care Aide in Calgary, you will work under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver a variety of basic care services. Your role includes promoting well-being, assisting residents with personal care, and facilitating mobility throughout the facility. Experience in continuing care is preferred for this fulfilling position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bathe and shower residents per care plans
• Assist with transfers using mechanical lifts
• Support residents during meal times
• Provide routine treatments under staff guidance
• Accompany residents to activities within the facility
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of related experience
• Completion of HCA or equivalent education
• Active registration with CLHA required
• Fluent English communication skills
