Intermediate Civil Engineer/Project Manager

We are supporting a well-established, employee-owned consulting engineering firm in their search for an Intermediate Engineer / Project Manager. This role is suited to someone who enjoys delivering practical engineering solutions tailored to client needs, while continuing to grow technically and professionally within a collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate will take ownership of their work, build strong relationships through reliability and technical competence, and contribute positively to a multidisciplinary project team. What You’ll Do
Lead and support municipal and Indigenous community infrastructure planning, design, and construction projects
Work within multidisciplinary teams on a range of engineering and planning assignments
Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff on project delivery
Support client relationship management and business development activities
Prepare proposals for both competitive and non-competitive opportunities
Assist with community engagement activities, including workshops and supporting materials
Complete engineering design calculations and coordinate with CAD teams on drawings
Prepare technical reports for infrastructure planning and design studies
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications
Prepare construction tender documents
Administer construction contracts (CCDC/MMCD experience considered an asset)
Support or lead construction inspections, including QA/QC activities
What You Bring
Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline
8+ years of relevant engineering experience
Consulting experience required; land development/subdivision experience is an asset
P.Eng. in BC or eligible for immediate registration
Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Experience with Indigenous communities or Indigenous Cultural Safety training is an asset
Familiarity with Indigenous Services Canada funding processes is an asset
Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
Valid driver's licence in good standing
Comfortable with field work, including travel to remote locations and varying site conditions
Willingness to travel and spend time in communities as required
