The Role As a member of our National Sales team within Investment Solutions at IGM, you will join a highly collaborative, advisor-focused team that plays an important role in helping our sales leaders, wholesalers and portfolio strategist partners deliver better advisor outcomes. The Sr. Specialist, National Sales provides enablement, coordination and operational support to improve the consistency, quality and responsiveness of advisor-facing support across the team.
This role provides leverage to National Sales leadership by ensuring the team has the right materials, meeting preparation, follow-up, planning support, documentation, and tracking to execute effectively. The role also supports national events, recurring sales routines, communications, process improvement, and practical team administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the National Sales leadership team, including meeting preparation, agendas, action logs, follow-ups, coordination of deliverables and recurring sales routines.
- Reduce the administrative and coordination burden on senior sales resources by tracking priorities, deadlines, decisions, and key deliverables.
- Coordinate practical team administration, including national event coordination, scheduling support, materials management, documentation, expense completion, travel coordination and follow-through.
- Provide on-the-ground support for National Sales leadership, including meeting guests, coordinating executive meetings and supporting other in-office needs.
- Support advisor-facing sales enablement by preparing materials,
meeting support, communications, follow-ups and field-ready resources for sales leaders, wholesalers and portfolio strategist partners.
- Help ensure sales priorities, advisor feedback and field support needs are reflected in planning, communications and enablement materials.
- Translate Investment Solutions initiatives into clear, practical messages and resources that support consistent delivery to advisors.
- Coordinate closely with key internal partners, including the Director, Investment Solutions, AVP, Inside Sales and Sales Strategy, Marketing and Communications, to align advisor experience, field support and sales enablement priorities.
- Track sales initiatives, field requests, advisor support needs, meeting outcomes, dependencies, and follow-up items to improve consistency and responsiveness.
- Improve documentation, SharePoint organization, distribution lists, reporting, templates, planning tools, and intake processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, adopt AI-enabled tools, and improve the way the National Sales team plans, prioritizes and executes recurring activities.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, communications, operations, marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience providing coordination, administrative, sales enablement, operations, communications, or project support in a quick-paced professional environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple priorities, deadlines, decisions, action items, and follow-through across stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear materials, messages, meeting notes, and stakeholder updates.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to work with confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively with sales leaders, wholesalers, portfolio strategist partners, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a national sales, wealth management, asset management, financial services or advisor-facing team.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, presentations, planning materials, tracking tools, reporting templates or sales enablement resources.
- Comfort identifying process improvements and using AI-enabled tools or digital workflows to improve consistency, efficiency and quality.
- Knowledge of French and English is an asset to support team members and partners within and/or outside the province of Quebec.
The expected annual base salary range for this role is $69,000 - $83,500, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
