Summary

We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team at Rutwind Brar LLP. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing insightful analysis to support our clients' financial objectives. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to excellence and client success.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial data.
- Assist in payroll processing and related reporting tasks.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Conduct thorough account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored advice.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is preferred.
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a senior role.
- Minimum of 3 years in Public practice preferably with a CPA firm,
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficient in CaseWare, Jazz-it, Profile, Microsoft Office, & Quickbooks Online
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.

We’re offering an exceptional opportunity for a staff accountant to use your skills in a flexible work environment with a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
- 40-hour work week (Jan – Apr) and 37.5-hour work week (May – Dec).
- Flex hours of work during the months of January and May - December.
- 4-day work weeks during the summer months.
- Time off in lieu of overtime.
