At BBA, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our passionate team and contribute to designing resilient, innovative infrastructure across the mining, energy, and natural resources sectors. Lead complex structural engineering mandates across the mining, energy, and natural resources sectors Oversee structural design and analysis for facilities, industrial structures, and infrastructure in remote and challenging environments Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is an asset)



Minimum 15 years of relevant structural engineering experience Significant experience leading projects in the mining, hydroelectric, and energy sectors Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Familiarity with Canadian building codes and standards (NBCC, CSA S16, AISC) Solid understanding of site execution and construction-phase support Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills Experience contributing to technical proposals and business development efforts Group insurance plan from the first day of employment, including disability insurance and a telemedicine program Retirement savings plan Annual vacation and sick leavePremium for employee referrals
