Casual Registered Nurse, Operating Room & Surgical Day Care
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurses at Dryden Regional Health Centre provide comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to a variety of clients. As a full‑time registered nurse you will provide and coordinate nursing care to assigned clients consistent with current standards of professional practice with the Ontario College of Nurses.

Requirements

Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario

Current BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider credentials

Completed the Operating Room Techniques Course for Registered Nurses from an accredited institution

Minimum of two (2) years Operating Room experience in circulating and scrubbing considered an asset

Must be able to be on stand‑by

Experience working in Emergency, Critical Care and OBS would be an asset

Good physical health

Willing to work flexible schedule, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

Demonstration of strong nursing practice, skill and judgment

Excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilities

Demonstrated critical thinking, leadership, and mentoring skills

Must be able to work in a team‑oriented environment

Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour

Proven attendance record





Able to perform the essential duties of the job

Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect

Immunization records must be presented prior to hire

This is a union position. Salary will be as per collective agreement.
