Position Overview
EOSOL Group is seeking Quality Technicians to support utility-scale wind projects in Canada. The selected candidates will be responsible for performing quality inspections, verifying installation activities, reviewing construction documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and OEM requirements throughout the wind turbine installation process.
Candidates with previous Nordex experience in any country are highly preferred and will be considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality inspections during wind turbine installation and construction activities.
Verify compliance with project specifications, approved procedures, and OEM requirements.
Conduct inspections of:
Tower installation
Nacelle installation
Hub and blade installation
Mechanical completion activities
Electrical installation activities
Review quality records, checklists, and inspection reports.
Identify non-conformities and support corrective action processes.
Monitor subcontractor compliance with quality requirements.
Support punch list generation and close-out activities.
Maintain detailed field documentation and photographic records.
Coordinate with Site Management, Construction, Commissioning, and QA/QC teams.
Participate in audits, quality reviews, and turnover activities.
Education
Technical Degree, Diploma, or Engineering background in:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Renewable Energy
Industrial Engineering
Related disciplines
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in:
QA/QC
Quality Inspection
Wind Turbine Installation
Construction Quality
Utility-scale wind project experience preferred.
Previous experience working on Nordex projects is highly desirable.
Candidates currently working on Nordex projects in other countries who are interested in relocating to Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
