Description
The successful candidate is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between the standard working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks), every Monday to Friday inclusive, at the identified OPS office location — 222 Jarvis St. Toronto.

Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes: developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests. Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversions.

Back End Skills: Knowledge and experience with developing all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end

Knowledge and experience with front-end technologies

Knowledge and experience to integrate the front-end elements into the application

Desirable Skills

Knowledge and experience with programming Internet ready applications

Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies

Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices

Experience with middleware and gateways

Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, debugging

Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues





Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team

Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards

Ability to provide user and system documentation as required

10+ years of demonstrated experience in developing N-tier enterprise application.

10+ years of demonstrated experience in developing using .Net frameworks, C#.

Demonstrated experience with API (Back-end) development

Technical Skills 35%

Demonstrated experience of developing applications using Angular, Material Design.

Demonstrated experience of web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Demonstrated experience working with .Net Framework – MVC, Web services, Web API.

Demonstrated experience in development & debugging experience on Microsoft Azure App services.

Other skills 25%

Demonstrated experience of writing SQL and Stored Procedures (preferably in MS SQL Server and Cosmos DB)

Demonstrated user-experience (UX) design to ensure a excellent user-centered experience, iterate it in accordance with user-testing.

Demonstrated experience of using Agile Methodologies.
