Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030)

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week; Flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays

Wage: $37.25 per hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the daily operations of the restaurant

Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures

Recruit staff and oversee staff training





Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

Assist in controlling inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices

Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Deal and schedule with suppliers for food and other supplies

Assist in maintaining quality control standards for food preparation, presentation, and customer service

Employment Requirements

Completion of secondary school is required

Minimum 2 years of experience in food service or hospitality

Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a restaurant setting is required

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high customer volume

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to support team management and maintain operational standards

Language Requirement: English (spoken and written)
