Server/Bartender – Thai Restaurant

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and efficient Server/Bartender to join our Thai restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide warm and attentive service while helping guests enjoy an authentic Thai dining experience. You’ll be responsible for taking and serving food and beverage orders, preparing and serving drinks, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining and bar area.

Previous restaurant or bartending experience is preferred, and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is an asset. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, solid communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve Thai dishes and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to restaurant standards
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about Thai dishes, drinks, and menu options
- Process cash, debit, and credit payments accurately and provide correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining tables, the bar, service areas, and workstations
- Manage multiple tables and bar orders efficiently during busy service periods
- Monitor guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to questions, concerns, and special requests




- Restock beverages, glassware, condiments, and other service supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety, alcohol service, hygiene, and health regulations
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth and efficient service

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant, serving, or bartending role is preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and approachable personality
- Ability to manage multiple tables, orders, and guest requests efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for handling payments and cash transactions
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, hospitality-focused attitude
- Willingness to learn about Thai cuisine and confidently explain menu items to guests
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
