We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our energetic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong time management skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
Duties
- Take and serve orders accurately using POS systems, including Squirrel and Ideal POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Ensure proper food handling and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations
- Assist in serving food to guests promptly and accurately
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly
- Uphold food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Squirrel is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently
- Experience in serving or bartending roles is highly desirable
- A friendly personality with a professional attitude committed to hospitality excellence
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
