Server / Cashier

We are seeking a professional, energetic, and friendly Server/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who brings a positive attitude to the workplace, enjoys interacting with guests, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As a Server/Cashier, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for every guest. We are looking for someone who is smiling, enthusiastic, attentive, dependable, and motivated to provide excellent customer service throughout every shift.

Responsibilities

- Welcome and greet every guest in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and provide knowledgeable assistance with menu selections.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a positive and attentive approach.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions responsibly and with integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area, including tables, service stations, and other assigned areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
- Recommend and upsell appropriate menu items while maintaining a natural and guest-focused approach.
- Assist with basic food preparation and other restaurant duties when required.
- Work cooperatively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Remain organized, professional, and composed during busy service periods.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to assist team members whenever necessary.

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant,



serving, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred; however, motivated candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A naturally friendly, positive, and energetic personality.
- Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming attitude throughout the shift.
- Strong customer-service mindset with genuine interest in guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
- Strong multitasking, organization, and time-management skills.
- Basic mathematical skills and accuracy when handling payments.
- Familiarity with POS systems is considered an asset.
- Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and restaurant safety practices is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when needed.
- Dependability, punctuality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic are essential.
