We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by sanitizing tables, chairs, and other surfaces regularly.
- Assist in the kitchen as needed, including food handling and preparation tasks.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures at all times.
- Knowledge and understanding of Provincial Liquor Laws and Regulations. Serving it Right is required.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to guest services and kitchen operations.
