Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your enthusiasm, excellent customer service skills, and ability to manage multiple tables efficiently will ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and upselling opportunities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Check in with guests regularly to ensure their needs are met, address any concerns promptly, and enhance their overall experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including table setup and breakdown after each guest




- Assist in food preparation or setup as needed during busy periods or special events

Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
