Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our energetic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, food handling, and customer service within a fast-paced food industry environment.

Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions and cash handling procedures
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations and refilling supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas,



and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing bills
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality or guest services roles is beneficial for providing outstanding guest experiences
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment within a rapid-paced restaurant setting

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
