Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and promote upselling opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant efficiency.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating strong guest service skills.

- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and payment processing.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and inventory counts.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff.
- Experience with food industry terminology, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices.
- Basic kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus.
