SAMBAL is a modern Indonesian bistro on The Danforth in Toronto. We are currently hiring Servers who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and are excited to introduce guests to something new. You'll be the face of SAMBAL, delivering exceptional service, guiding guests through our unique menu, and ensuring every dining experience is smooth, warm, and memorable.

Responsibilities

- Greet and seat guests with a welcoming attitude
- Present and explain menu items, offering recommendations
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders, check on guest satisfaction, and clear tables efficiently
- Handle payments, operate POS system, and manage bills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
- Help create a fun, inclusive, and respectful setting for guests and team

Qualifications:

- Friendly, energetic,



and customer-focused
- Comfortable learning and describing new cuisines
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Smart Serve Certified (required)
- 1+ year serving experience in a restaurant or bistro (preferred)
