DOF Canada is currently seeking an HSEQ Coordinator to join our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) team. If you are looking for a dynamic environment to learn and grow your career, DOF Canada offers a great opportunity!

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with DOF's Project Manager(s) to ensure HSEQ aspects/deliverables are met as required at different stages of the Project

Develop and maintain project HSEQ documentation including HSE Plan, QA Plan, Bridging and Emergency Preparedness Plans

Assist with setting up project KPIs and tracking

Lead or participate in project incident and NCR investigations

Conduct project and supplier audits

Participate in key project HSEQ related meetings (internal and external)

Support project and company compliance with legislation, policies, guidance and best practice

Facilitate lessons learned/experience transfer sessions including ensure recording/closing out.

Attend the vessels during project mobilisation and demobilisation activities to ensure HSEQ requirements are being met

Conduct project HSEQ oversite/visits at suppliers/ fabrication shops as required

Support Project Emergency Response

Chair/facilitate project HAZID/risk assessment meetings including the development and communication of DOF safety moments

Champion the DOF Risk Assessment Process as per DOF Global Standards





Chair/facilitate client HAZID/risk assessments as per client/project requirements

Maintain project risk registers

Review project documentation as required by project team, e.g. Project Installation Procedures, subcontractor documentation etc

Promote internal circulation safety alerts and internal bulletins

Support DOF Canada's HSEQ Department with additional requirements as needed including but not limited to the following:

Assist with DOF Canada documentation updates within DOF's Integrated Management System

Assist with the HSEQ input into tenders

Assist with the office onboarding of recent personnel

Assist with the development of HSEQ presentations and documentation

Provide training on DOF's HSEQ Management tools

Requirements

3-5 years’ experience in HSEQ preferably in the energy and offshore marine environment industry

Post‑secondary education in a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality discipline (or equivalent)

Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018

Working knowledge of HSEQ incident investigations and audits

Proficient in Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Document Control Systems

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail
