We are seeking an Intermediate Process Technologist in our Water business to work on water and wastewater treatment, pump stations, and mechanical piping systems across North America.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing engineering drawings for industrial infrastructure projects using Revit.
Accurately read and interpret process and building mechanical drawings related to water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and mechanical piping systems.
Ensure Revit, CAD Standards, QA/QC procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.
Understand and adhere to Stantec and client standards.
Work with project managers and technical design staff to prepare coordinated 3D models and engineering drawings.
Skillfully work in Revit projects, including maintaining multiple models, creating views, and ensuring accurate object placement.
Demonstrated ability to deeply understand and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), and independently develop coordinated 3D models and detailed engineering drawings directly from P&IDs; with limited or no markup guidance.
Organize, manage, and publish project models, drawings, and electronic deliverables in accordance with Stantec and client requirements.
Prepare presentation graphics and report figures.
Assist the CAD/BIM Project Lead with project setup and coordination of project drawings using collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Forma, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and ProjectWise.
Create and manage custom Revit families.
Collaborate effectively with other technical disciplines.
Ensure project deliverables are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist with model reviews and multidisciplinary coordination using ACC and Navisworks.
Capabilities and Credentials
Required experience with Revit, Autodesk Forma and ProjectWise.
Strong communication skills,
along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities and a willingness to work in a team atmosphere.
Highly organized, attention to detail, able to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a versatile approach to work assignments.
Experience with MS Office Suite including Word and Excel.
Experience with Plant 3D, Bentley Software, 3DS MAX and other rendering software is an asset.
Education and Experience
Technologist diploma/certificate in a related program with a minimum of five to six years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment disciplines, and/or an educational background in these areas.
5+ years of related CAD/BIM experience with process mechanical systems.
Typical office environment: working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
Pay Range
Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario: $72,300.00 - $104,800.00 Annually.
