## Senior AccountantApplylocations: Tyvantime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR100183Senior AccountantAs the **Senior Accountant**, you will report directly to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for all accounting activities and financial reporting to support operations and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Responsibilities:* Prepare Financial reports and maintain the general ledger + Financial Review of assigned facilities + Reconcile all assigned bank accounts + Report variances and corrections as needed* Assist with audit preparations and prepare documentation for internal and external auditors.* Perform account reconciliations for assigned accounts* Intercompany transactions.* Fixed Asset analysis as needed.* Recommend ways for process improvement.* Cross-train within the team to learn or teach processes and improvements.* Other duties as assigned.Qualifications/ Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in accounting* The qualified candidate would be a self-starter, team player and possess an Accounting / Finance background.* 5-10 years of experience in a Healthcare setting (Preferred)* Solid analytical ability, good judgment, strategic and multidimensional thinker* Strong attention to detail and organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines.* Demonstrate professional behavior, punctual, dependable, and adhere to company policies and procedures.* Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
