Part‑time – 37.5 hours per week; 2‑, 3‑, and 4‑week rotations.

About The Role
As the Community Health Nurse, you will work in an expanded scope of practice to provide primary care, public health, health promotion,



and emergency care for First Nations individuals, families, and communities, including after‑hours on‑call care. You will work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in nursing.

Current registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Must be Remote Certified (RNC) with BCCNM.

Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP).

Valid Class 5 Driver's license.

Understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols.

Knowledge of nursing processes.

BC Remote Certification
FNHA Community Health Nurses must have or be working toward Remote Certification (RNC) and can live anywhere in Canada. If you are not yet Remote Certified, FNHA can support you in obtaining your RNC with extensive training, travel, and salary paid while you pursue certification.

You May Have Experience In

Primary care, disease and injury prevention, health protection, curative, urgent and emergent care, medical/surgical, rehabilitation and supportive or palliative care.

Pay Range
The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full‑time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
