Welder – Malach Metal and Machining (Buffalo, ON)
Primary Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Set up welding equipment and ensure proper parameters for each job.
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements.
Prepare materials including cleaning, grinding, and fit-up prior to welding.
Work collaboratively with fabrication, machining, and assembly teams.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of TIG welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Experience with TIG welding required.
CWB certification is an asset or willingness to obtain.
Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is an asset.
Work Details & Benefits
Full‑time, permanent position. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
On‑site role at the Buffalo location.
