About The Position
The Account Manager is directly responsible to the Director of Sales and General Manager . This is a sales representative position that is responsible for growing client partnerships.
Responsibilities
Account Management:
Develop and maintain healthy relationships with clients
Enter orders and confirm details with clients
Service / grow a client list in sales and profitability
Contact clients regularly to service their floral needs
Ensure that client order fulfilment is being monitored
Regular contact with clients
Acquire new customers and maintain a prospect list
Represent Staalduinen Floral Ltd. in an effective, ethical and professional manner.
Develop a thorough knowledge of the company and all the products and services that it offers.
Adhere to all company guidelines, procedures and policies.
Serve clients assigned to other Account Managers when they are away.
Carry out any additional duties as requested.
Requirements and Qualifications
2+ years directly related experience with Inside Sales / Account Management
Excellent prospecting and relationship building skills
Sales and customer service experience
Wholesale Floral or Retail Florist sales experience preferred.
Proficient with MS Office Applications
Computer skills with experience in ERP software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required
Flexible and adaptable with sound work ethics
Strong organization & time management skills
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
High energy, fast paced office environment
Occasional travel required to visit clients and prospects
Due to the nature of the floral industry, longer hours may be required around holidays
