Penticton Honda is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Fixed Operations team.

As a Service Advisor, you will be one of the primary points of contact between our customers and our Service Department. We are looking for someone who delivers an exceptional customer experience, communicates confidently, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of building trust with every customer.

Automotive experience is an asset, but we are also interested in candidates with strong customer service, sales, hospitality, or other high-performance service experience who are eager to learn the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers professionally and determine their vehicle service and repair needs.
- Schedule service appointments and manage customer expectations regarding timelines.
- Prepare and explain repair orders, estimates, maintenance requirements, and technician recommendations.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process.
- Present recommended maintenance and repairs clearly and confidently.
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional maintenance and services based on vehicle needs.
- Work closely with technicians, parts personnel, and management to ensure an efficient workflow.
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding or previously deferred maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain accurate customer, vehicle, and repair-order information.
- Process payments and complete repair orders accurately.
- Ensure customers receive a skilled, transparent, and positive experience from check-in through vehicle delivery.
- Contribute to departmental goals for customer satisfaction, sales, productivity, and retention.

What We're Looking For
- Previous customer service or sales experience.




- Automotive dealership or Service Advisor experience is considered a robust asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales ability with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable way.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable working in a busy, performance-driven environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic automotive knowledge is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence.
