Westshore Marine in Arborg is seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team representing industry-leading brands, including Polaris, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Berkshire, Bennington, Mercury, and Lund. This role is ideal for a customer-focused individual with strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine passion for powersport and marine equipment The position offers competitive hourly compensation paired with an efficiency-based bonus structure.

Requirements:

- Meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
- Listen to the customer’s description of Powersport vehicle issues to gather information on the nature of their vehicle’s mechanical problem.
- Inspect Powersport vehicles and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customer’s service needs.
- Create work orders, describing customer concerns to help technicians diagnose what repairs are needed.
- Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding the product and associated service requirements.
- Provide accurate cost and time of completion estimates for the services recommended, communicate and get proper authorization from customers.
- Check on progress of services to powersport vehicles throughout the day and contact customer to communicate and receive approval regarding any changes in the cost-estimate, promised time of delivery or recommended services.
- Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer warranty guidelines.




- Confirm service appointments by telephone the day before the customer is scheduled to arrive and conduct post-repair follow up.
- Inspect powersport vehicles prior to each customer delivery to ensure vehicles services and/or repairs are performed correctly and communicate the results with the customer.

Skills Recommended:

- Experience as a Service Advisor within the Powersport industry will have added Advantage. With brands like Polaris, Yamaha, Suzuki, Berkshire and Lund.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or training in Powersport sales and service.
- Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills to develop relationships to ensure customer loyalty.
- Strong written communication skills to accurately detail customer concerns in each work order.
- Proven time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands.
- Valid Driver’s License.
