4wards Exteriors is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Service & Repair Technician to join our team.

This position will be responsible for handling our smaller repairs, service calls, warranty work, roof repairs, and miscellaneous exterior projects. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, resourceful, experienced, and comfortable working independently.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, troubleshooting problems, and taking ownership of a job from start to finish.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Completing residential exterior service calls and small repairs
- Roof repairs, leak investigation and minor roofing work
- Diagnosing leaks, damage and other exterior issues and determining the appropriate repair
- Siding repairs and replacement
- Soffit and fascia repairs
- Eavestrough repairs
- Exterior trim repairs
- Caulking, sealing and water-infiltration repairs
- Small installations and miscellaneous exterior work
- Warranty and deficiency repairs
- Safely working from ladders and on residential roofs
- Taking before-and-after photos and documenting completed work
- Communicating professionally with homeowners
- Determining materials and supplies required for repairs
- Keeping tools, materials and service vehicle organized
- Identifying when a repair requires additional labour, materials or a larger crew
- Completing multiple service calls or small jobs as scheduled

What We’re Looking For
- Previous construction, renovation, roofing or exterior experience
- Valid Ontario Working at Heights training/certification




- Comfortable and experienced working on residential roofs and at heights
- Knowledge of proper fall-protection procedures and secure ladder use
- Experience with roofing, siding, soffit, fascia and eavestrough is strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Mechanically inclined and able to figure out unfamiliar repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage your day efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Professional and respectful when dealing with homeowners
- Dependable and punctual
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
- Able to take direction while also making sound decisions independently in the field

The Right Person We’re not expecting you to be an expert in absolutely everything.

We are looking for someone who knows construction, understands how the exterior of a home works, and can look at a problem and figure out how to fix it properly.

One day you might be tracking down a roof leak. The next could involve replacing damaged fascia, repairing siding, fixing an eavestrough issue or completing a warranty call.

You’ll have variety, independence and responsibility for making sure the small stuff gets taken care of — and taken care of well.
