Position Summary:

The Service Technician Level 2, reporting to the Shop Foreman/Coordinator provides support to Level 1 & 3 Technicians. This position includes ensuring that all Service Technician Level 2 responsibilities are accomplished in a timely manner while working within a team environment. A broad knowledge base and mechanical aptitude are essential to this position within BarrelEye.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform servicing of Downhole Tools by following applicable SOPs and Manuals
- Ensuring accurate data entry into SimX and Service Reports/Work Orders




- Proficient in the use of specialized tools for servicing Downhole Tools
- Conducting daily pre-use inspections of equipment and specialized tools
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean and organized shop and yard environment.
- Provide support to management and collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.
- Handle various additional duties as assigned to support the company’s operations and goals.

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required: In-depth experience servicing and building downhole tools
- Required: Experience with forklifts and powered cranes.

Skills:

- Attention to detail and critical thinking
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending, crouching, kneeling.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday typically 6:00am - 3:00pm, with overtime as required, including occasional weekends if required.

Additional Requirements:

- Scheduled on-call rotation for after-hour orders.
- Ability to work flexible hours; including weekends if required
- Experience with Performance Mud Lube and NOV Motors an Asset
