With over three years of continuing care experience, you will utilize adult learning principles and clinical expertise to enhance education on dementia care, medication management, and safety standards. Collaboration with community supports ensures that the educational initiatives align with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement education programs for diverse audiences
• Provide training on dementia care and infection prevention
• Facilitate group orientations and mandatory training sessions
• Support care staff by mentoring and sharing your expertise
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and quality benchmarks
Requirements:
• RN or Registered Psych Nurse eligible for CARNA or CRPNA
• Minimum three years of experience in continuing care
• Educational experience and quality management preferred
• Knowledge of RAI and Dementia Strategy beneficial
• Robust mentorship and leadership skills
