Starting wage: $36.84 – $51.77 per hour based on experience
POSITION SUMMARY The Registered Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for diagnostic imaging sonographic scanning.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Licensure) Required: Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
Skilled Liability Insurance
Preferred: Current registration with Sonography Canada
Previous experience in a hospital setting
Experience in performing ECGS & Holter Monitors
Radiography qualifications

COMPETENCIES/TECHNICAL Knowledge and proficiency in quality imaging
Knowledge and proficiency in equipment QC requirements
Knowledge and proficiency in general ultrasonography examinations




Knowledge and proficiency in infant and pediatric procedures
Knowledge and proficiency in ultrasound probe disinfection
Proficiency in computer software applications: Microsoft Platform, Meditech
Community Wide Scheduler, PACS, Learning Management System
