Sheet Metal apprentices will eventually perform all of the following duties as you learn:
- Interpret engineering and architectural blueprints, drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed.
- Measure and mark, cut and shape sheet metal according to drawings or templates
- Perform onsite Installations, ensuring specification accuracy, and compliance to building and nfpa96 codes
- Operate fabrication machinery, such as shears, brakes, rollers, and computer operated plasma table with precision.
- Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment
- Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, various locks, and welding
- Overtime available
- Clean Drivers Licence (required)
Job Type: Full time Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
