Arx Metals is looking for hardworking, dependable installers to join our growing construction team. We install metal roofing, metal siding, seamless gutters, and metal flooring systems on residential and commercial projects throughout New Brunswick and beyond.

As an Installer, you'll work alongside an experienced crew to safely and efficiently complete a variety of projects, including new construction, renovations, repairs, replacements, and service work. Whether you already have construction experience or you're looking to build a career in the trades, we're looking for people who work hard, show up every day, and take pride in producing quality work.

If you're willing to learn, work hard, and produce quality work, there are opportunities to advance into Lead Installer, Foreman, and Project Manager positions.

Responsibilities

- Work with your crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Assist with site mobilization, job setup, and material organization
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Measure, cut, handle, drill, and install metal roofing, metal siding, seamless gutters, trim, flashing, and metal flooring systems
- Assist with roof tear-offs, demolition, preparation, and disposal of old roofing materials
- Install, repair, replace, and upgrade roofing and exterior systems according to company standards and project specifications
- Perform service work, repairs, and diagnostic investigations when required
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other construction equipment safely
- Follow crew leader instructions and installation requirements
- Work with crew members to solve problems and make adjustments to meet project deadlines
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Follow all company safety policies and properly use required personal protective equipment

- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing demanding work throughout the day
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Detail-oriented with pride in producing clean, precise work
- Able to learn quickly, follow instructions, and adapt to changing job site conditions
- Ability to work with crew members to solve problems and meet project deadlines
- Experience in roofing, siding, sheet metal, or general construction is an asset, but not required
- Red Seal, Journeyperson, or apprenticeship experience is an asset, but not required
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are an asset

Working Conditions
- Outdoor construction work in all weather conditions
- Work performed on rooftops and at ground level
- Physically demanding work including lifting, climbing, kneeling, bending, carrying materials, and working long days
- Exposure to dust, noise, and changing weather conditions
- Required use of personal protective equipment, including safety boots, hard hats, gloves, eye protection, high-visibility clothing, and fall protection equipment
- Out-of-town and out-of-province work may be available, including travel pay, accommodation, and living allowance where applicable

Pay & Benefits
- Starting wage: $22.00–$30.00/hour, based on experience, ability, and performance
