Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shear and Press Brake Operator to join our agile custom steel fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating shear and press brake machines to bend and shape metal components with precision and efficiency. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to read blueprints will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict specifications.

Duties

- Operate shear and press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings for custom steel fabrication.

- Program the brake press and perform layout and setups independently.

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure an accurate understanding of product requirement.





- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery to ensure smooth operation

- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for precision measurements and calculations
- knowledge of welding tools and procedures

- Good judgement

- Excellent oral and written communication in english

- Able to lift 50 lbs

- Perform quality control checks on parts fabricated

- Maintain a clean work environment

- Work safely around equipment and report damage to the equipment to the supervisor

- Perform other duties as assigned

- Able to operate forklift with a valid license.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
