We are seeking a agile and proactive Shift Manager to lead our manufacturing operations during their designated shift. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily manufacturing activities, ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently and safely
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage inventory levels and material flow using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules
- Lead process improvement projects focused on Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies
- Monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards of product quality and compliance with industry regulations
- Oversee assembly operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly, minimizing downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing workflows and implement process enhancements
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably as a Shift Supervisor or Manager in a rapid-paced environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or other enterprise resource planning software, including MRP modules
- Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing or similar methodologies
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and quality control standards in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to lead teams effectively, motivate staff, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Prior experience working with assembly lines, manufacturing equipment, and implementing process enhancements
