Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Operate order pickers and order pick tools to fulfill customer orders swiftly and accurately for e-commerce platforms.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organizing warehouse space for optimal flow.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, and load & unload activities.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and reach trucks safely in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes with an emphasis on accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during packing and inventory checks.
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
