Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping/Logistics Lead to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our supply chain and warehouse distribution operations. Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the shipping and warehouse teams to ensure efficient order picking, packing, and dispatching processes.
- Coordinate with 3PL providers, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline supply chain operations.
- Oversee inventory management using ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and AS400 platforms to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Manage shipping schedules, ensure compliance with safety standards, and oversee heavy lifting operations with forklifts or other equipment.
- Monitor shipment tracking, resolve logistical issues promptly, and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records of shipments, inventory movements, and warehouse activities using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP.
- Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication, leadership, and training of staff on safety procedures and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to packaging standards, customs regulations (if applicable),



and customer service expectations.
- Analyze data related to supply chain performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in shipping logistics or warehouse management within manufacturing or e-commerce environments.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as ERP systems like SAP or AS400.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer science fundamentals related to supply chain operations.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable for effective communication across diverse teams.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Robust communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience with purchasing, packaging procedures, order picking strategies, and heavy lifting equipment operation.
- Familiarity with 3PL logistics providers and supply chain best practices is advantageous.
