Goudy transport is a thriving family owned company, operating primarily in the southeast Saskatchewan oilfield. We are seeking a skilled Shop hand/Mechanics Helper to join our team in Stoughton. The ideal candidate will possess some knowledge and expertise in the repair and maintenance of various types of heavy machinery, live in/around Stoughton, willing to relocate or reliable commute.

This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, ability to follow instruction and excellent time management.

Duties

- Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues in heavy equipment, including Semi trucks, trailers, and other related equipment.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

- Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or upgrades.





- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

- Experience in inspection, diagnosis, repair and service of heavy duty trucks and trailers

- Robust background in automotive repair or related fields is preferred.

Additional Requirements

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with management and colleagues.
