Overview

We are looking for a Shop Hand / Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, hardworking, and looking to build a career in the heavy equipment industry.

Responsibilities

- Assist journeyman mechanics with repairs, maintenance, and servicing of heavy equipment and trucks
- Perform shop cleanup, organization, and general shop duties
- Help with inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Assist with oil changes, greasing, fluid checks, and component replacements
- Safely operate shop tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment
- Perform other duties as required

Qualifications
- Previous shop or mechanical experience is an asset
- Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic designation or willingness to apprentice
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Commitment to safe work practices

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
