We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Showroom Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our showroom, engaging with visitors and guiding them through our product offerings with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the showroom, establishing a welcoming atmosphere
- Demonstrate products effectively, including conducting product demos to highlight features and benefits
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, providing expert advice on renovation, construction, and design options
- Upsell complementary items and upgrades to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customers and enhance product visibility
- Collaborate with team members on inside sales strategies, account management,
and marketing initiatives to boost overall showroom performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, especially in high-end or specialty products such as renovation or construction materials
- Robust communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse clientele
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Experience with customer service, negotiation techniques, and upselling strategies to enhance sales outcomes
- Understanding of renovation or construction processes to better assist clients’ project needs
- Excellent organizational skills for managing product displays, inventory, and client accounts
- Ability to work both inside the showroom environment and outside sales activities as needed
