Job Summary

This is a year-round, salary-based independent contractor position for an experienced exterior professional with extensive supervisory and hands-on trade experience. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Exterior Site Supervisor to lead and coordinate outdoor construction activities with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of exterior construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Your leadership will drive team performance, manage resources effectively, and uphold strict safety and quality protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of outdoor construction projects, inspiring teams to deliver exceptional results while maintaining a strong focus on safety and excellence. This position is offered on a self-employed independent contractor basis and is not an employee position.

The successful contractor will be responsible for their own income taxes, CPP contributions, and other remittances or obligations applicable to a self-employed independent contractor.

Duties

- Supervising and inspecting residential and commercial exterior projects.
- Conducting regular quality-control inspections to ensure workmanship meets the highest of standards.
- Ensuring installations are completed according to manufacturer specifications, project requirements, and proper industry practices.
- Coordinating with subcontractor crews, homeowners,



general contractors, suppliers, project management, and office staff.
- Maintaining professional and timely communication with general contractors and project managers.
- Preparing written reports, deficiency reports, progress updates, and other required job-site documentation.
- Responding professionally and promptly to project-related emails and correspondence.
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring jobs remain organized and on schedule.
- Identifying deficiencies and ensuring they are corrected promptly.
- Completing minor service calls, repairs, warranty work, and installation corrections when required.
- Picking up and delivering materials when required.
- Identifying job-site issues and resolving them before they cause delays or additional costs.
- Ensuring job sites are maintained in a protected, clean, and professional manner.
- Providing regular project and job-site updates to management.
