Duties
- Support siding installers by preparing work areas, including measuring and organizing materials
- Assist with the safe handling and heavy lifting of siding panels, tools, and equipment
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and caulking guns to aid in installation tasks
- Follow blueprints and project plans to ensure siding is installed accurately according to specifications
- Help with surface preparation, including cleaning and minor repairs before siding application
- Apply caulking around seams and edges to ensure weather-tight seals and professional finishes
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly
Experience
- Prior construction or handyman experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training!
- Familiarity with hand tools, carpentry techniques, and blueprint reading is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Basic knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing applications
- Solid work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
