About Us

Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd. (PIM), a division of The Hazelwood Group, is looking for an experienced Marine Construction Site Supervisor to lead projects from planning through completion.

Based in scenic Cowichan Bay, PIM delivers high-performance marine systems and bridge construction projects for public and private sector clients. We combine the flexibility and teamwork of a close-knit operation with the strength and resources of a larger organization.

What You'll Do

- Lead and work alongside crews to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to specification
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, including planning, scheduling, crew coordination, and subcontractor supervision
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, vessels, and other marine resources to keep projects moving
- Champion a safety-first culture, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Manage quality control and resolve site issues quickly and effectively
- Support project budgets, contracts, change orders, and cost tracking
- Maintain accurate timesheets, daily logs, reports, and project documentation
- Communicate regularly with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Keep crews aligned on priorities, expectations, schedules, and project requirements
- Identify potential issues early and work with the project team to develop practical solutions
- Drive project close-out,



ensuring deliverables are completed and documentation is accurate and up to date
- Lead by example by maintaining a professional, accountable, and collaborative work environment

What You Bring

- Proven experience in marine construction, site supervision, or project management
- Hands-on experience working on or around the water
- Strong understanding of applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize, problem-solve, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong administrative skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s licence
- First Aid, SVOP, and VHF certifications are strong assets
- A collaborative, accountable, and safety-first mindset
- A genuine passion for building great projects and great teams
