The Mikisew Cree First Nation is seeking a strategic Director of Human Resources with extensive knowledge in HR practices. You will collaborate with senior leaders to implement HR initiatives tailored to the nation's values and operational needs. This role requires a balance between organizational priorities and employee relations, ensuring compliance with legislation while fostering positive workplace experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic HR leadership across the organization
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with MCFN goals
• Advise on complex employee relations and workforce challenges
• Oversee recruitment, compensation, and workforce planning
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HR policies
Requirements:
• 7-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience
• CPHR designation strongly preferred
